Meet the Team

  • Dr. Emily Morton, OTD, OTR/L

    FOUNDER

    Dr. Emily Morton graduated from the University of Southern California with her doctorate in occupational therapy in 2021. She completed her residency at Surf and Turf Therapy, learning to incorporate non-traditional therapies into practice. She has worked in a variety of settings with all ages including mental health, skilled nursing facilities, home health and pediatrics. Her most recent work at OTEIM incorporated photobiomodulation (low-level laser) in therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and developmental delays. She has pursued advanced certification in physical agent modalities and is a Certified Functional Vision Rehabilitation Specialist. Dr. Emily is currently a student of the Carrick Institute, seeking further education and board certification in functional neurology.

  • Tucker, OTDog

    SERVICE DOG

    Tucker is a goldendoodle and resident “OTDog”. He has been a therapy dog in both pediatric and adult settings, providing emotional support to his clients. Tucker loves tennis balls and turkey bacon. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys naps on the couch, long walks, and playing fetch on the beach.
